Welcome to the Palace Compilation group. The aim of this project is to produce the first ever Palace Network Compilation Album, which will be distributed both physically and through the internet, with the intention of gaining profit for all the artists that appear on the album.

It may also be available for free under a Creative Commons license. This is what the license entails.

Entry for the competition is now closed and we are in the voting stage. To vote for your favourite tracks simply visit the profile Palace Compilation.

If you submitted a track you agreed to the following terms:

1) You agree to your track being distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 Unported License

2) You agree to allowing your track to be pressed to a CD and sold physically, with the intention being profit (which will be shared amongst all of the artists).

3) You agree to allowing your track to be sold over the internet through various online distributors such as iTunes.

If you somehow missed these terms and no longer wish to participate in the contest please email me ASAP at gamoneterik@gmail.com and your track will be removed.

After some discussion I have decided not to physically press the CD except for maybe a limited edition run, for perks. Our main avenue for getting this thing "out there" will be net distribution. There have already been some great suggestions regarding this, feel free to add your two cents.

This is very much a communal thing, the tracks are created by Palace Members, voted on by Palace members, and all profits will be split amongst the artists appearing on the album. So get involved and have a listen to the killer tracks, and vote.

The deadline for voting is the 15 October 2009.
