Grooveshark (as recommended by Metricks) looks interesting. Rather too many places where there is someone trying to charge you to promote your music, but some interesting links with twitter and they seem to have stolen quite a few ideas from last....
Cheers northcape. I'm still doing some construction shifts down at the blog and will upload more work soon.
For the Kong video I had generated some sounds via zendesk/FM3's Buddha Machine Wall but then couldn't remember the combination I had selected at the recording session! Not being able to read Chinese didn't help either.
There are some location sounds that I should have recorded cleanly (bilingual voice on train, crossing signal, escalator, etc.) but I'd still like to keep them. The use of tinsha(?)/bells at 4'04'' ('tree of enlightenment') are too blunt and are temporary.
I'm still working out the best way to work on here (and getting used to the layout) and will open the piece up to ideas regarding music/sound treatment. I'm definitely in the company of superior ears around here.

I listen to your music all the time in the car and have been meaning to play your music on A.I. for quite sometime. Sorry it has taken so long.
hey alastair, sorry you couldn't make it but it was great to again hear 'approaching the trig point' played on air. as i said in the chatroom at the time, repeated listens to your music sometimes makes me feel like i'm listening to a different piece each time, varied hues and 'songlines' seem to emerge under the light of different times... have a great weekend!
