by Law at MySpaceNing is very different to Last.fm - smaller, more intimate, totally different vibe in a way and a portal to taking your own exploratory adventure through independent music at all different sites over the internet.
If you want to hear music right here on this Pixies Palace network, there are a few options:
. As you suggested, explore the member pages. Some people have uploaded music and some haven't. If there's no music player on the member page, that person has not yet uploaded any and you can keep exploring what they are up to through their other weblinks. Although some of us spend a lot of time at Last.fm, some artists are not there at all or it's not their major music 'home' and most of us are all over the internet at different sites anyway.
. Check out the 'Recent Uploads' player on the lower part of the main page here. At the moment there are new tracks being uploaded just about every day. That player has the 20 most recent uploads on shuffle and you can also tell it what to play for you from the playlist by double clicking on the track you want.
. Take a journey into independent sound with Palace Radio at the top of the main page. Every independent artist that's ever been connected to Pixies Palace at Last.fm is in the mix - it's mammoth, literally thousands of tracks you will never have heard. You can skip onto the next one if you don't like what you are hearing and can also get to the artist pages at Last.fm by clicking on the artist's name on the player while the track is playing for you.
By joining this site, you have started on a journey into the vast jungle that is independent music all over the internet. Get adventurous, explore, find the artists you love and enjoy! Artists love listeners!!!
