@Autorotation (on Twitter) posted a comment about whether to join “yet another” music site promising ‘increased exposure’, ‘earnings from you music’ and ‘a way to contact your fans’. The issue was that the internet/market/whatever-you-call-it is oversaturated.
I myself have joined many a site which claims to b… Continue

[segue in italiano] Music, rhythm, harmony ... emotion. Is it possible to imagine a world without music? I don't think so. We are immersed in music. The world that surrounds us is a creator of music, a drop of water that falls is rhythm, is music. For some of us, though, it is not enough to be enshrouded in these vibrations that we call music. Some of us feel the need to take an active part in this creation, they feel the need for a

I've been honing and refining this album for quite some time and am now completely satisfied with it, so now, it is in your hands. As always my music is free and this album is no exception. "Lift The Black Veil", which can be found from archive.org at 320kbps here, explores something rather prevelant in western culture: the vampire. The album takes a look at both the fantastic, mythical vampire archetype as well as exploring the notio… Continue
Mucho mucho mucho thanks to my chica Marilyn (hey, I just watched "Scarface", feeling in character....lol) for featuring me on her blog. Truly, this is what makes life sweet. Human connection and appreciation. Even if I am an alien.....;)

Review: Northcape and Pixieguts
"Pacific Highway is a top quality track in every sense. The production is crisp, clean and clear and this is as a professional sounding track as you are likely to find anywhere on Soundclick. Pacific Highway is a very soulful offering, smacking of the kind of bread and butter “Bristol Sound” trip hop that I listened to through the late 90’s. Pixiegut’s melanch… Continue

Hi all,
Just wanted to say that if you still want to remix my tracks (which I would really like you to do - bring your talents to my tracks) please email me at dementio13@ntlworld.com to request the wavs.
I'll upload them via YouSendIt.com.
Doorchaser and Electromagnetic Impulses (I think) are working on mixes now, while Crimson Death has already produced a storming mix of 'Prick' (thanks CD!).
It doesn't matter if you produce a mix of the same track that someone else has already done; its bou… Continue
I was recently considering a change of identity. No, not some witness protection-style change of name, face and address; but a change of alias related to my musical output. My ’sound’ and working practices are constantly changing, so it seemed like a good idea to build up a new name and listener-base. In the end, I decided against it as I seem to have a decent enough (in my view, at least) number of listeners and plays on Last.fm, and to start all over again would mean I’d have to start at zero.… Continue
(This is an excerpt from a longer blog I posted at Wordpress.com.)
I don’t buy CDs anymore.
Now, this could be seen as an attempt by me to say “Look how advanced I am technologically”, but far from it.
Its not that I don’t actually buy music anymore, I do. I just prefer to get it in convenient digital packages which take up no space in my living room, I can play immediately and I don’t have to spend hours ripping them onto my Mac in order to li… Continue
