Poxxicle is music created from sound files recorded from the internet. The music is created by filtering, processing, slowing down or speeding up the files, in what is quite a laborious process. The files contain speech, sounds and music . Occasionally remnants of the original recordings appear to survive or resurface.

The first project, The Pornography Files (first), is made up of sound files found on online pornography sites:

Most of the content of these sites must be viewed as being exploitative, whether the material is recorded by individuals, by criminal gangs or by “clean” multinational corporations.

I'd be interested to hear it. No, I have no story board idea for a video at the moment. I just finished the tracks and uploaded them - I'm mulling over a few ideas for video and installation to go with the piece. Thanks for the comment.

Healey Island - saw the recent comments on Music Collab. Looking in to FM and listening - I actually did this ten years ago on a four track teac which was pretty difficult. You have done an great job - I will dig in my vaults and find my attempt.... probably quite hissy though in comparison. Very interested in this recycling idea . . . you mention video have you any personal ideas or storyboards ?
